Vaccine Awareness Week in Construction launched.
CIRI part of RI consortium urging participation in April 19-23 campaign.
As construction work has continued across Rhode Island during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rhode Island’s construction industry leaders have developed and honed best practices to mitigate health risks to construction workers and others. With significant experience working safely in hazardous conditions and applying rigorous protocols, these organizations remain steadfastly committed to implementing the highest standards of workplace safety that meet or exceed CDC and OSHA recommendations.
The RI construction organizations and consortium executives promoting the campaign, in addition to support of RI Department of Health guidance on vaccinations, are:
| RI Associated General Contractors (RIAGC) Kerrie Bennett, Executive Director |
National Utility Contractors Association of RI (NUCARI) Savanna Wainwright, Executive Director |
| RI Building & Construction Trades Council (RIBCTC) Michael Sabitoni, President |
RI Builders Association (RIBA) John Marcantonio, Chief Executive Officer |
| BuildRI Gregory Mancini, Executive Director |
Construction Industries of RI (CIRI) Stephen A. Cardi II, President |
