September 9 STIP report details key projects for FFY21.

Bridge reconstruction and repair is major focus for coming year.

RIDOT has released the latest September 9 update to its State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) report. Continuing a major initiative of the RhodeWorks program, to further reduce the number of deficient bridges throughout Rhode Island, the agency’s plan for FFY21 includes reconstruction and repair projects across the state.

The plan also addresses ongoing needs for pavement management, traffic mitigation and safety improvements — along with selected projects for stormwater drainage and operations.
