Another active winter for CIRI safety program.

Multiple training/seminar events, free for CIRI members.

In preparation for the busy spring construction season, the CIRI Safety Committee again held a variety of courses and seminars — all of them free for employees of CIRI member companies. The 2017-2018 slate of programs included Highway Work Zone Safety training for technician and supervisor certifications, OSHA 10-Hour Refresher training for people with certifications, and CPR/First Aid training.

Silica safety is another key area addressed by the program. In addition to Silica Awareness and Silica Competent Person training, many member companies are taking advantage of CIRI’s silica testing equipment, which is available for use upon request.
