While providing status updates for the numerous projects that comprise the RhodeWorks program, the RIDOT October 30 quarterly report provides a big-picture view of the unprecedented scope and diversity of infrastructure projects already being addressed or soon to be undertaken.
Augmenting the core capabilities of the ongoing RhodeWorks program for roads, bridges, resurfacing and localized traffic/safety improvements, the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) is empowering RIDOT to get to over 100 projects sooner than expected.
