Senator Jack Reed to address CIRI Spring Dinner Meeting.

Will deliver keynote address at May 29 event.

We are pleased to announce Senator Jack Reed as the keynote speaker for the annual CIRI Spring Dinner Meeting, Wednesday, May 29 at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick. The meeting will also feature an awards presentation for the CIRI 2024 Henry J. Sherlock Scholarships to six college-bound high school seniors.

A senior member of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Reed helps to allocate funding for all federal agencies and programs while serving on seven subcommittees: Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies | Defense | Interior, Environment and Related Agencies | Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies | Legislative Branch (Chairman) | Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies | Transportation, Housing and Urban Development.

An invaluable advocate in Washington for infrastructure investment at both the national and state levels, the Senator was recently the prime catalyst for securing an $81 million INFRA grant to kickstart the I-95 to Route 4/Quonset “missing move” project.
