Candidates wanted for Henry J. Sherlock Scholarships.

Application period open through April 20, 2026.

CIRI will again award Henry J. Sherlock Scholarships in 2026 to graduating seniors. As the program enters its 15th year, a total of six scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $5,000 each.

Any high school student graduating in 2026 who is a child or grandchild of a present employee of a CIRI member company — and will be enrolling in a two-year or four-year accredited college or university — is eligible to apply for consideration.

During the review process, the CIRI Scholarship Committee considers a number of key factors including: scholastic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activities, personal recommendations, and the student’s personal essay (to be included with his/her application). The 2026 winners will be honored at the annual CIRI Spring Dinner Meeting on May 27 at Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick.
